‘An Unbeatable Mother & Daughter Moment’: Blue Ivy Carter’s Choreography Blows Fans Away While Performing with Mom Beyoncé at the 2022 Oscars

Proud grandma Tina Knowles-Lawson enjoyed watching her daughter Beyoncé and granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter perform at the 2022 Oscars Awards that aired Sunday, March 27.

Bey and Blue Ivy’s performance was held live from a tennis court in Compton, California, the hometown of “King Richard” subjects Serena and Venus Williams.

Blue Ivy joined her mom as she opened this year’s show with her Oscar-nominated song “Be Alive.” She held it down, front and center, among a group of dancers dressed in lime green outfits.

The following morning, Monday, March 28, Knowles-Lawson shared a photo from their performance on Instagram. Fans in the comments gushed over Blue Ivy’s talent and how well Beyoncé’s daughter executed her dance moves. Here’s what others had to say.

“Blue was on that tennis court with her mama hitting choreography with professional dancers and EATING. I gotta stan!!”

“One of the coolest 10-year-olds out there.”

“So gorgeous and did an amazing job! Cause chile I couldn’t remember that dance routine like that! Especially not at her age!”

“Beyoncé did amazing tonight! So happy to see Blue had a chance to hit the stage with her superb mom! Excellent work! #BeyonceIsTheGoat #BeAlive.”

“She really did that! An unbeatable mother & daughter moment.”

Fans couldn’t help but notice how much the daughter of Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z enjoyed killing the Oscars stage. Many crowned the young dancer as the next queen to follow behind her multi-hyphenate mother.

One person wrote, “Still a princess. But the next QUEEN!” Another said, “She’s coming!”

Another paid homage to Bey’s hometown by writing, “What you expect nothing less coming from a h-town hottie like her mother! That equals a h-town, babyyyyy! That’s how you do it in Houston! Blue look[s] fabulous and did great!”

Blue Ivy Carter shows up and out whenever she hits the stage next to her mother. She kept up with dancers during a rehearsal clip for Bey’s historic 2018 Coachella performance. She stole the show in a 2021 campaign video for her mother’s IVY Park collection, next to her 4-year-old sister, Rumi.
