Beyoncé Premieres Trailer for ‘Homecoming’ Doc, but Fans Are Stuck on Blue Ivy’s Dancing: ‘She’s Our Next Supreme’

Beyoncé fans were sent into a tizzy after Netflix released the trailer for her upcoming documentary “Homecoming,” which captured the singer’s historic performance at Coachella in 2018.

The clip shows rehearsals for the annual festival, plus shots of the actual set, all while a recording of Maya Angelou‘s voice can be heard in the background.

“What advice would you have to give this generation?” the late poet was asked. “Tell the truth,” she answered. “To yourself first and to the children.”

“Okay Hive apparently She’s coming, get your Netflix accounts and your wigs ready,” wrote a Beyoncé fan, obviously thrilled about the documentary. “10 days! #Homecoming #BeyoncéIsComing.”

And while there were plenty of other messages that showed people’s excitement about “Homecoming,” many commented on a part of the trailer that showed Bey’s daughter Blue Ivy dancing.

In fact, Ivy kept up with all of the dancers in rehearsal, who were sitting in chairs, whipping their hair back and forth.

“Just so yall know, Blue Ivy Carter is coming to take Beyoncés crown,” someone tweeted. “Shes our next supreme, its confirmed.”

“She has the complete package,” another person wrote. “She just has to decide if she’s gonna sign to her mom or dad’s label lmaooooo.”

“If she can sing it’s already over. We already know she can rap,” a third person wrote, referring to “Blue’s Freestyle” on her dad Jay-Z‘s “4:44” album.

Additionally, Beyoncé’s Coachella performance marked the first time a black woman headlined the annual festival. The singer was actually slated to perform in 2017 but cancelled because she was pregnant with twins Rumi and Sir.

As far as the 2018 performance, Jay-Z took the stage, as did Bey’s sister Solange. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also joined the “Lemonade” creator to come together as Destiny’s Child.

“Homecoming will be released on April 17, and you can watch the trailer below.
