‘Now Phae Phae’: Phaedra Parks Caused a Social Media Commotion When Debuting Her ‘Smurfette’ Look

Phaedra Parks left fans at odds on Feb. 10 after debuting her new look.

In the Instagram post, Parks, who is seen in what appears to be a beauty salon, showcased her aqua-colored tresses as she posed for the camera as the track “Do We Have a Problem” by Lil Baby featuring Nicki Minaj played.

Throughout the clip, the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star gave fans a close view of her wavy hairstyle from every angle by flipping it and spinning her body around. In addition to the recording, Parks, who seemed to be inspired by Lil Baby and Minaj’s new single, captioned her upload, “Do we have a problem? – @nickiminaj”

As Parks’ video began circulating online, many expressed how they felt regarding the new look. While some individuals said they loved it, others shared a different opinion.

“Ms Parks atee and left no crumbs.”

“Okay Smurfette!! We don’t want any problems!!”

“You better go AWFFFFFFF.”

“Now Phae Phae.”

“It’s not giving. I know she wants a look but it’s giving love and hip hop.”

“Not for me but honey if you feeling it then hey (shoulder shrug emoji). “

Among the mixed reviews, a couple of social media users discussed the possible reasons why this hairstyle was not their favorite, including the hair’s color and the middle part.

One wrote, “I like Phaedra but this ain’t her color.” Another said, “It’s Something About That Part That’s Giving Party City. Sucks Cuz The Wig Looks Quality But That Part Is Questionable.”

This post comes a month after Parks made headlines for what some observers said was looking like two Bravo stars, Cynthia Bailey and Quad Webb. In the Jan. 9 upload, Parks modeled a long-sleeved blouse and a buttoned-down skirt for fashion designer Mariyon’s clothing brand. The images went viral.
