‘Ain’t Did a Show In 23 Summers’: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia Get Into Altercation Onstage During ‘Verzuz,’ Swizz Beatz Seemingly Responds

Thursday night’s “Verzuz” event featuring Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was briefly interrupted after the two parties nearly came to blows on stage in front of a live audience. The incident left “Verzuz” co-creator Swizz Beatz visibly upset, prompting a new rule change.

The altercation began after Bizzy Bone of the Ohio-based group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony called out the opposing rap group for “mocking” him during their performance. Aye, yo… Aye, before we even get started, you ugly motherf—ers ain’t finna be mocking me while I’m on motherf—in’ stage. Like straight the f–k up,” Bizzy said, addressing the members of Three 6 Mafia.

A few words were exchanged, and Bizzy reportedly threw an object toward the side of the stage where Three 6 Mafia had been standing before chaos erupted. The “Verzuz” Livestream was briefly paused, and the message “Due to technical difficulties, this event will return momentarily” appeared. When the battle resumed, Bizzy returned and apologized to viewers.

“I wanna apologize to everybody the f— out here on both sides,” the rapper said. “I’m not trying to f— this s— up. Pardon me. Let’s keep the party motherf—in’ going.”

Swizz seemed to have his own personal issues with the ’90s rap group even before and during the show. The Grammy Award-winning producer revealed behind-the-scenes details regarding the group’s appearance agreement, claiming they had outrageous demands, including overly priced booking fees.

Swizz also claimed that “The Crossroads” musicians caused the show to start late after refusing to commence until a Riker’s prisoner had blessed the ceremony.

“Artist be acting all the way out talking about I’m not going on stage until my Favorite cup is in my room,” Swizz wrote at one point in the comments section of the Livestream. “Ain’t did a show in 23 summers and want to charge us like the sold out stadium prices! Taking about yesterdays prices is not todays price sh-t.”

Elsewhere, the “Money in the Bank” musician appeared to implement new guidelines, stating, “New rule if you don’t start on time you don’t get paid on time!!!! ” He added, “Verzuz is not free!! They charge us 5x they do non black shows… Culture.”

However, Swizz didn’t appear to stay too long because, by the end of the night, the entertainer had expressed that the show was “amazing” and that it was one of his “FAV versus ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
