‘Tell the Truth’: Lil Boosie Hits Back At Instagram CEO, Insists Account Was Removed Due to ‘Racism’

Boosie is back in the headlines….for multiple things, but one of the main reasons is because the rapper has a bone to pick with those in charge at Instagram.

Boosie has had some trouble with keeping his Instagram page after violating the company’s policies multiple times, and now he operates through a backup Instagram page. After the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, visited “The Breakfast Club” on Tuesday, July 27, to give clarity on why the brand had to take down Boosie’s Instagram page, Boosie refuted Mosseri’s claims.

The Baton Rouge rapper alleged in a video on his backup Instagram, that his page wasn’t taken because of “nudity,” but because of “racism.” He later explained “the girl who I posted on my piano, she had emojis over everything. You took my Instagram and you took her Instagram. You gave her her Instagram back in three to four days.”

He angrily pushed for Mosseri to “tell the truth, tell the f–king truth” and said although the lady in his photo received her IG back, his IG was never returned to him.

Earlier that day, Mosseri explained to Charlemagne the God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy of “The Breakfast Club” that the brand banned Boosie’s page because “You’ve got to draw the line somewhere. “It’s a nudity policy. We try to be clear. You can appeal but if you get too many strikes, something will happen.”

Later on in the day after going off in his first video, Boosie uploaded another video asking, “Adam Mosseri, can you give me my page back?” He continued pleading his case, saying, “Before that my page was never taken away from me. You done gave everybody their page back; give me another chance. Give me my official Boosie page back with my 10.5 million followers so I can help feed my family some more.”

Mosseri has yet to respond to Boosie’s request.
