‘I Know U Miss Her!’: Fans Get a Kick Out of Bow Wow Trolling Jermaine Dupri on Social with Throwback Photo of Janet Jackson, Nelly Chimes In

Rapper Bow Wow set off social media fireworks during the Fourth of July weekend when he boldly posted a photo of Jermaine Dupri and ex-girlfriend Janet Jackson.

The photo, which was short-lived on Bow’s timeline, shows Dupri and Janet all smiles while posing for a photo with Mickey Mouse at a Disney theme park. In the caption Bow wrote, “Can we go back to the old days hahahahahaha @jermainedupri pops i know u miss her! Cuz the s—t u been pullin up with Lately has been BASURA 🗑”

Further adding fuel to the fire, Bow upped his pettiness by revealing what provoked him to post the photo in the first place. “I’m just saying! You don’t wanna pick up my call cuz u drunk w Nell! I’m on yo a— all day hahaha hope you ready! Love you pops,” he wrote in the comments.

Seeing how he was brought into the imbroglio, Nelly made sure to warn the “Like You” rapper that there would be consequences for his actions. “😂😂😂boy uno u dead Dead dead..!! 😂😂😂😂,” wrote the “Country Grammar” emcee. The duo were in fact together as Nelly made an appearance at club E11even in Miami, Florida.

Fans who were able to screenshot the post had a field day with it on social media.

“Ayyoooo he know he dead wrong for airing big dawg out like that 😂😂”

“Janet is happy leave her out of this lol 😂”

“That’s rude imagine being one of them women he’s pulled up with now reading this lol”

So So Def recording artist Da Brat, also a longtime friend of Dupri, even jumped into the mix with a co-sign. “MAN!! FAX!! Like please let’s go!”

Dupri and Janet were one of the hottest, and most private, celebrity couples of the early 2000s. However, their almost decade-long relationship came to a screeching stop in 2008.

The Grammy-winning producer said the nature of their relationship was very serious, so much so that he even felt married. So what broke them up? Living arrangements. In April 2020, Dupri revealed both parties refused to relocate — meaning Dupri leaving Atlanta for Los Angeles, or vice versa for Jackson.

“I think the only thing that created a difference for me was the fact that we didn’t live together. We had an eight-year, nine-year relationship, but we didn’t live with each other,” he told rapper T.I on an episode of the “expidiTIously” podcast.

“She wasn’t willing to move to Atlanta. I wasn’t ready to move to Malibu.”

Almost a decade after their split — and only a year following her split from billionaire husband Al Mana — the couple was spotted in Atlanta. Rumors of the duo rekindling their romance spread, but that was all the public ever saw or heard of the matter.
