‘I Don’t Blame You’: Tichina Arnold’s Creative Way In Dealing with a Hot Flash Has Fans Cracking Up

Veteran actress Tichina Arnold has seemingly slowed down the hands of time in the looks department.

However, while her looks are holding up, that did not stop the 51-year-old’s sister Zenay from letting the world in on a particular change occurring in the former “Everybody Hates Chris” cast member’s life.

“What do you have to say during your flash?” asks Zenay with a camera pointed at her sister.

“Stop making a spectacle out of me,” says Tichina while wearing a face shield with a fan tucked inside of it. “I’m hot. I’m having a hot flash, this is the best way that I could do.”

Further poking fun at her sister, Zenay then says, “Yeah, uh-uh, you’re doing a Diane. This is a mommy moment.” Tichina quips, “I ain’t hot no more,” with a smirk on her face.

Finding the humor in the moment, Tichina shared it to her Instagram with the caption: “Don’t forget to #laugh today..even at my expense. As long as it’s worth it. Lol!”

“Maaaaan listen…..These masks make these hot flashes hit different,” wrote a fan who understands Tichina’s struggle.

“I don’t blame you…I sometimes put my head in the freezer when I have a hot flash….😂😂😂”

“Those hot flashes ain’t no joke😂😂,” wrote another.

It’s been 23 years since the hit ’90s comedy show “Martin” went off the air, but Tichina’s role as Pam has remained a fan favorite.

“The Pam in you will always be there 😂,” commented one person.

“You haven’t aged a bit my Queen❤️❤️”

Since then she’s had roles on a handful of shows, including the ongoing successful run of “The Neighborhood” with comedian Cedric the Entertainer. But even with her résumé of sitcom success, the actress is looking to add host to her list of gigs.

In early February it was announced she and childhood best friend and former “Martin” cast member Tisha Campbell will be teaming up for a talk show tentatively called “Tisha & Tichina Have Issues.”

“I’m happy that me and my bestie will have the opportunity to create and enjoy a platform where our audience can get intimate with us,” Campbell told “Entertainment Tonight.”

Tichina added, “Never before has television played a greater role in our communities, and I feel certain that connecting through our brand of positivity and laughter is sure to shine through to our forever faithful fans.”
