A kind gesture by hip-hop mogul Diddy to music artist Summer Walker was overshadowed when fans took notice of a note included with the gift to Walker. More specifically, it was Diddy’s handwriting that left fans shocked.
Diddy gifted the “Girls Need Love” singer with an eye-catching Chanel Wool Tweed & Gold-Tone Metal Large Tote in purple, black and blue. The lavish gift, which ran Diddy upwards of $5,000 (a mere drop in the bucket for the baller, no doubt), ended up playing second fiddle to the handwritten note that was sent along with the purse, however, when fans noticed that his writing was a little more than difficult to read.
Underneath the Revolt TV Network founder’s obvious penmanship issues lived a kind and generous compliment for Walker, in which he called her one of the “greatest voices ever,” writing, “To Summer 1 of My Greatest Voices EVER Thank You Love Diddy” (or “Diddy Love,” depending on how you read it).
Although the reason for the present remained unspecified, it’s possible Diddy sent the bag as a congratulatory gift in celebration of her bun in the oven. Walker is expecting her first child with music producer London on da Track, and although the two have had a rocky road so far, she’s been enjoying her pregnancy as best she can amid the drama.
Fans wasted no time clowning Diddy on his issues regarding legibility, with many wondering how it’s possible for a grown man in his position in life to have such questionable handwriting.
