Fans are disbelief and want answers from rapper Method Man after talk show host Wendy Williams recently claimed that the pair had a one-night stand.
During an interview with DJ Suss One, which was posted to the radio host’s YouTube page on Thursday, Jan. 28, Wendy shared the story of how she and the Wu-Tang Clan member ended up underneath the sheets together.
“I smoked a blunt … with Method Man while I gave him a bath, and it was a one-night stand,” Wendy explained. “He’ll deny it, maybe not. It wasn’t in the movie because [he] is still very angry at me … for being me — for telling the truth. It was one night. We were in the club, a fight broke out, and gunshots broke out. The fight was ridiculous. The whole Wu-Tang was there, but it was only Meth up in the rafters. And see, that’s where I go to observe everything because I was by myself.”
Wendy claimed that the rapper was highly under the influence that night, as she could smell the stench of marijuana on him. “I had weed, but he had better,” she said. “I didn’t roll blunts. I rolled joints, because I was never really a blunt roller, and they’re sloppy.”
She continued, “He rolled a blunt, we smoked a blunt, we watched the fight, we heard the gunshots, the cops came in. He was rolling with, you know, the car from Staten Island with the whole clan and their people. … I guess I batted my eyes and rocked my shoulders, and I said, ‘You wanna come over?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I’ll follow you.’”
Wendy went on to say that the pair got into her SUV and drove to her penthouse in Jersey City. When asked if they did the do, the television host said, “Yes!”
Method Man hasn’t responded to Wendy’s claim, but that didn’t stop folks from bombarding his Instagram comments section looking for answers. One person presumably saw the flood of questions coming and gave the rapper a helpful tip. “I advice u to turn off your comments, sir !.. 😩…,” they wrote. “Not you & ole gurl having a one night stand !..”
Another person got straight to the point and asked, “Sooooo🤔 you & wendy had a one nighter? Asking for my mom😂.”
“Meth Wendy just said you clapped her cheeks … damn saaan tell me it ain’t so 🤦♂️,” a third expressed. Others saw the revelation as an opportunity for them to shoot their shot at the rapper, including one fan who wrote, “So if you can smash wendell you could definitely date me wassup boo 🥰😘.”
Roughly between 2001 to 2006, the “C.R.E.A.M.” MC blasted the talk show host for airing personal details about his wife Tamika Smith’s health. Only time will tell if Meth speaks out about this incident as well.
