It looks like Joseline Hernandez’s fans do not approve of her latest look. On Tuesday, Jan. 26, she uploaded a close-up photo of her face, giving her followers a full view of her makeup.
The shot shows Hernandez leaning into the camera lens, showing off not only her red lipstick, but also her eyeshadow. Her eyelids are covered with gold eyeshadow and then outlined by a black liner.
Confused fans wanted to know “Why the black lines on eyes 🤦🏾♀️.”
Others tried to break the news to her gently, writing, “No lie I love you sis but this was some ugly ass make up,” and someone else added, “I 💕 my joseline but the eyes is big naw.”
And this is not the first time fans have had to tell the mother of one about this makeup style. Just the day before posting this photo, she uploaded a short video of herself out on a balcony near a beach. In the video she is rocking the same eyeshadow style as mentioned in the previous photo, but her lipstick is different. This time, she is wearing a powdery nude lip color.
But it seems like what throws the look completely off is the eye makeup, because even with the difference in lip color her followers were not fans of the style.
One person said, “👀👀 who ever is doing her makeup needs to get fired ASAP…🤷🏽♀️.”
“Girl I love you but stop sending that eye liner across the top of your lids like that,” added another.
It’s not clear whether Joseline has an official makeup artist or if she does most of her everyday looks herself. One person who has done Hernandez’s makeup before is “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” and celebrity makeup artist Mila Thomas. She worked with Hernandez when she co-hosted on “The Real” daytime talk show.
She said, “I had so much fun with Joseline behind-the-scenes on the set of The Real! Each day during her week co-hosting I got to play and create new looks.”
Thomas is currently Nicki Minaj’s makeup artist and works with other celebrities like Niecy Nash, Yung Miami, and Issa Rae.
