‘So Baaaaadd’: Alexis Skyy Debuts New Hair Color While Vacationing In Miami

“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” reality diva Alexis Skyy has been serving looks continuously on the ’Gram while on vacation. The entrepreneur and beauty influencer recently flaunted her fashion taste in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, Jan. 16.

“Bubble yuh body fi the Uptop Boss,” Skyy captioned her photo.

The 26-year-old rocked a colorful monogrammed short-sleeved top from Louis Vuitton with shorts to match, black open-toed heels, and a bright neon red Hermes Birkin bag. She completed the look with a diamond watch and a necklace.

While Skyy’s outfit was on point from head to toe, what really stood out was her burgundy tresses that left fans fawning.

“So cute. Love the color on you 😍.”

“I like this hair color on u sis.”

“This color 😍.”

“Cute Af boo boo 😍❤️.”

“Just marry me by now 😩🤤🥰❤️.”

“So baaaaadd 😍😍😍😍😍.”

The Lux House Beauty Bar owner is always switching up her hair. On Sept. 30 the mother of one wowed fans when she wore a mid-back straight ginger color hairstyle.

“Wow, I love this ginger color and haircut,” Skyy captioned the video, which garnered over 700,000 views. Skyy got her hair done in her own shop, and fans were all here for the “gorgeous” look.

Skyy opened up her shop in June 2020 in the Long Island burg of Deer Park, New York. The Lux House Beauty Bar also includes services of eyelashes, facials, plus more.

In an April 2020 interview she did with The Shade Room, Skyy shared that she had owned a salon at 19 years old before her latest shop but got lost as an entrepreneur during her turbulent relationship with rapper Fetty Wap.

“I felt like I failed, and it always bothered me,” she said, noting that she saved money to fund a new business. “I am much more focused and ready to become a millionaire.”

It looks as though the business is thriving for the entrepreneur, even amid the pandemic. On Nov. 18, 2020, Skyy dedicated a post to her staff members at the shop, writing, “Thankful for my wonderful staff … I appreciate all of you guys Dream team.”

From simultaneously running a beauty business, traveling, and serving looks, it seems as though Skyy is the ultimate boss girl.

Independent journalism still matters.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
