‘Candy’: ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ Star Moniece Slaughter Debuts Pink Pixie Cut

Moniece Slaughter‘s bold new pixie cut blew the songwriter’s fans away on Sunday, Nov. 22, after the mother of one uploaded a photo of herself rocking black frames.

The “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast member, who wore a plain white T-shirt, tagged and thanked her hair stylist Gregg Gilmore for a job well done. She wrote, “Bold cut w/ a sprinkle of pink #TheGTouch by @greg_gilmore does it for me every time.” Many fans gave a thumbs-up to the star’s extravagant new look.

“That’s a cold look right there 🔥🔥🔥🔥”

In the same post, the reality star clapped back at a couple of trolls who threw jabs at the 33 year old for her “lighter” complexion. One person wrote, “It’s extremely sad seeing how much you dislike yourself…you truly need to get some REAL HELP OMG…🙏🏼🙏🏼I WILL PRAY for you my BEAUTIFUL BLACK SISTER.” Moniece retaliated by questioning the Instagram user’s intention behind prayer by informing that person she was “confident enough” to change her look despite the criticism she would face. “Why? Because I’m self-confident enough to cut my hair off and color it knowing it would wash me out and make me look lighter than I already am? Only adding fuel to bleaching lie, you guys spread about me?”

She also added that she would do some praying — for the social media user’s mother. “Well, I’ll pray for your mother that if she’s not dead already that she doesn’t roll over in her grave from birthing vermin like you. 🤷🏾‍♀️”

The “LHHH” alum didn’t stop there; she blocked one of her followers who couldn’t get “pass the skin” because it was creeping them out. She wrote, “let me help you past it 5…4…3…2…1…BLOCK.”

Slaughter addressed the bleaching allegations earlier this month by sharing photos of different parts of her body. She said her lighter tone is due to the lack of sunlight from the changing seasons. Bleaching rumors began circulating after Moniece shared a 19-minute Instagram live video, displaying the skin-care products she was using.

When a fan pointed out those particular products are used for bleaching, the singer lashed out around the 5:08 mark of the interview, saying, “this is not for bleaching. I need you guys to get a good grip on the difference between exfoliating and brightening versus bleaching. Bleaching does not brighten. Bleaching deplenishes. Bleaching removes melanin. Bleaching takes away color, stains, that’s what bleaching does.”
