Masika Kalysha‘s fans were torn on Thursday over the “Love and Hip Hop” star’s new look after she uploaded a collage of photos promoting a designed long-sleeved dress from her company Khari Barbie Beauty.
The television personality flaunted the full-length dress, which was ornately designed with prints of flowers, tigers, lions and playing cards — with a slew of seductive poses such as placing both arms on the kitchen counter while tilting her head to one side.
The model displayed her voluptuous rump in the same dress in another image by turning her back to the camera. The 35-year-old paired the outfit with a necklace and a watch. For makeup, she wore her natural look and a nude lip as she rocked her hair in braids. The former “Double Cross” actress captioned the Nov. 5 pic “Best dressed 👗I get 1000 compliments every time I wear #Picasso.” Although some fans didn’t like the star’s latest get-up, others complimented the attire as well as the whole look.
“This ain’t it.”
“Ehhh….. 😂😭A.”
“Trash.”
“Love this look.”
“Very nice! Almost resembles a kimono 👘 🇯🇵.”
“You Know I LOVE ♥️ ♥️♥️ that Dress on YOU!!! & Your Hair Too!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️.”
The reality star has some questionable fashion choices in her past. Earlier this year the entrepreneur was out and about in a colorful striped ensemble with long sleeves that included a No Ka ‘Oi shirt with Chanel pants. She topped it off with a gold necklace, blue-and-black boots, and a Keith and James hat. The singer captioned the Jan. 19 post, “He sent me a drink I sent it back. Don’t be cheap pay the whole tab.” The image ultimately racked up 30,000 likes.
The year before that Kalysha wore a red-and-black plaid long-sleeved dress with a Fashion Nova plaid jacket. The mother of one finished the look with a patterned Balenciaga bag, diamond stud earrings, a pair of necklaces, rings, and suede black thigh-high boots. Adopting a natural makeup look for the foundation, she also added false lashes and a red lip. She referenced Meek Mill’s “Going Bad,” featuring Drake, for the caption: “They asked for the boss so they sent me dawg.”
