K. Michelle Gives Fans an Update on Her Health After Removing Her Silicone Butt Injections

K. Michelle recently gave her 6.8 million Instagram followers an update on her health journey since she started the meticulous process of removing her botched butt injections. 

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, the former “Love and Hip Hop” star took to her social media platform with a message to not “play around with your body.” “Woke up To great news about my reconstructive surgery. It’s FINALLY this months in a couple of weeks. This journey has been one of the most difficult task that God has assigned to me,” the reality star wrote in a post. She added, “Ladies I don’t care who’s telling you what DON’T PLAY AROUND WITH YOUR BODY. Injections are illegal for a reason.”

“This is why i’m so excited that @lifetimetv has given me the opportunity to produce a show to tell women THE TRUTH,” K. Michelle captioned her post. She added, “And last but not least thank you to my doctor @drcarlosgomez1 the king of the butt and silicone removal. Let’s get it!” 

Fans praised the songstress for her transparency and for setting a positive example for others who might be going through the same journey. While other fans whished the “Save Me” songstress a speedy recovery, including one supporter who commented, “THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR STORY WITH US. LETS BRING MORE AWARENESS GUYS 💯❤️❤️.”

The announcement came after the 35-year-old made a promise to herself several years ago to remove the injections she said were done illegally. When speaking about the process, K. Michelle revealed that it took several surgeries to remove the black-market silicone butt injections, with the last procedure taking place sometime in 2019. 

At the time, K. Michelle told fans, “I’m just happy that this journey and closing the chapter on this mistake I made.” She added, “It’s time to smile and i’m in a hurry to do so, but I have not rush my recover time.”
