‘Not the Bangyang’: Fans Are In Stitches After Eva Marcille Shares a Throwback Photo of Herself

Eva Marcille’s fans are proving that they have jokes for days after the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star shared a throwback photo of herself and a couple of her family members.

On Thursday, Oct. 29, the “America’s Next Top Model” cycle three winner took to her Instagram page with a vintage snap of herself sitting on a bed while indulging in a plate of food. The sepia-toned shot featured a young Eva wearing a blue tank top and white pants. The future reality star styled her hair in a shoulder-length bob cut complete with full bangs as she sat between her two cousins.

“#thebayang #tbt with my Cuzzos @issajana85 and @mondaynvrcomes,” Eva captioned the snap. Her cousin Jana responded to the post, “We go all the way back! Back to the bangs and the the rod curled braids!”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable family photo, with many quoting the viral music video “Not the Bangyang.” One fan jokingly wrote, “it’s the plate of food in bed for me , yo mama gonna beat u.”

Another person commented, “I knew she was from the hood lol I knew it.”

Even her former “RHOA” cast mate Kandi Burruss slid into the comments section, writing, “@evamarcille you were tearing up whatever that is on that plate 😭😍.”

Another fan wrote, “😍 I love women in there element instead of IG pics this TBT pic speaks to the soul..@evamarcille.”

“Eva doesn’t get enough credit for all the hair styles she rocked over the years. This lady has great hair. Period. Uh, what y’all watching? Y&R? 😇,” a fourth fan said.

The reality star recently had to clap back at trolls who made fun of the hairstyle she wore to former co-star Cynthia Bailey’s wedding. For the big day, Eva wore an elegant long white gown with a slit on the right side. She styled her faux locs straight atop her head, holding them together by a string of pearls.

Many people voiced their dislike for the hairdo. However, Eva responded to the commotion, saying, “Little do they know it is traditional African hair style especially to an elegant evening. We are so colonized and so European we don’t even see black beauty in front of us.”
