Reginae Carter Turns Up at Her Mom’s Birthday Party Rapping Dad Lil Wayne’s Lyrics

Reginae Carter is reminding folks whose daughter she is. On Oct. 26, she attended her mother Toya Johnson’s birthday party, where she rapped along to a few of her father Lil Wayne’s songs.

On a video posted to social media, Reginae is wearing an all-black jumpsuit while spittin’ her dad’s verse on Drake’s song “HYFR.” Holding a pink mic, she raps the lyrics “They say love is in in the air, so I, hold my breath til my face turns purple. Keep a few bad b-tches in my circle. My n-ts hang like there’s no curfew.”

Her Instagram Story reveals that she later sang along to Lil Wayne’s 2008 hit “Mrs. Officer,” as well as his verse on the 2014 song “Pop That” by French Montana.

Reginae’s singalong was a part of Toya’s karaoke night that she had with her friends to celebrate her 37th birthday. The birthday girl wore a tan long-sleeved shirt with orange lettering on the back, black shorts, and black knee-high boots. Unsurprisingly, Toya’s fiancé, Robert “Red” Rushing, was in attendance, as well as a few of her friends, like L.A. Lakers role player Dwight Howard and her longtime friends Tiny and T.I.
