‘That Sage Stick Hairstyle Is A Nooooo’: Eva Marcille Gets Dragged for Hairstyle Worn to Cynthia Bailey’s Wedding

Model Eva Marcille is known to be quite a fashionista when it comes to the runway, but she may have missed her mark in the hair department over the weekend when she wore her locks in a questionable updo while serving as a bridesmaid in Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill‘s wedding.

On Sunday, Oct. 11, a day following the wedding, the former castmate of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” shared a photo striking a pose with Karen Huger of “The Real Housewives of Potomac. Marcille wore a white gown with a diagonal slit and matching white Converse shoes. She captioned the upload that generated over 153,000 likes, “Vibes 💍 @officialkarenhuger #101020.” Many fans felt Eva’s hairstyle was inappropriate, given the nature of the event.

“She just had to wear that hair style outta all days….. #Chile 🤦🏾‍♂️”

“That sage stick hairstyle is a nooooo and u knoooo it 🥴”

“Out of all the beautiful hairstyles you wear you had to choose that one to wear to someone’s wedding”

“That Hair Is Awful Especially For A Wedding!!! 🤮”

“What the hell with the hair!! Your twists look good down! We’ve been seeing all these photo shoots with the twists and now for the wedding you wear THAT?”

In addition to that, many fans who didn’t view the entire wedding album also commented on the white gown the mother of three wore since normally only the bride wears a white dress at her wedding. As guests began to upload their pics from the celebration it was later confirmed that the couple requested the bridal party to wear white and the guests to wear black.

A few days before the ceremony, Cynthia revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Eva was a part of the special celebration. “Eva will be front and center…Eva is definitely one of my bridesmaids.” The 53 year old also disclosed that no matter what had taken place in the past, she will always love Eva. “At the end of the day, this is a sunflower. I’m love and light. I think that energy kind of overwrites any of the bulls**t that was thrown our way.”

Cynthia may be referring to past friction with Eva after the “America’s Next Top Model” alum referred to her as a veteran model in a seemingly shady way.
