It looks like Ray J Norwood is officially calling it quits with his wife Princess Love after their recent reconciliation.
The “One Wish” singer reportedly filed for divorce from the model after two kids and four years of marriage, the Blast reported on Monday, Sept. 14. Love, however, seems unbothered by the news.
Nearly an hour after reports surfaced about the estranged couple’s divorce, the model shared a stunning photo of herself to Instagram and wrote alongside the snap, “God is good ❤️.”
Legal documents obtained by the Blast states Norwood, 39, is asking for joint custody of the pair’s two children, 2-year-old daughter Melody Love and 8-month-old son Epik Ray. He reportedly filed for dissolution of marriage in a Los Angeles County Court on Monday, Sept. 14.
The singer’s divorce filing comes two months after Love, 35, dismissed her own request to finalize their marriage, which she filed for in May. The twosome reconciled shortly afterward.
Last November, the mother of two and Norwood came to a crossroads in their marriage after she claimed Norwood abandoned her and baby Melody in Las Vegas following the BET Soul Train Awards. She was eight months pregnant with Epik at the time. Norwood denied his wife’s claims and scolded her for taking their marital woes to social media.
Norwood reportedly moved out of their home after the incident. Love said in an Instagram Live video that she didn’t “want to be married anymore. I don’t have time for this. This is not love. And I’m done,” she expressed at the time.
Following the recent news of the musician’s plans to divorce his wife, fans have showered Love with massive support.
“You better without him 💕 you deserve better,” one person wrote.
Another added, “Yes now get you a real man 😂😂.”
“Keep strong princess🙏 you’re beautiful and some lucky guy will be happy to be with u 1 day,” someone else wrote.
