In 2009, C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison for the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Steven Thomas outside of a Louisiana nightclub. Although the incident took place in 2002 and several witnesses recanted their stories, the rapper was denied another trial. To this day, the rapper maintains his innocence.
