Nene Leakes is all about the cryptic posts! The reality star from “The Real Housewives” is known for her outspoken demeanor and no-nonsense attitude, but on Thursday, Aug. 20, she shared two messages on Twitter, all of which could be alluding to her departure from the upcoming season of the hit reality show.
“You do somebody wrong but want them to be quite about YOUR wrong doings! How does that work,” the first tweet read. In the next slide, the OG Housewife retweeted a fan who claimed they wouldn’t watch the show if she left. “If you leave we leave❤️ you forever,” the second message said.
Nene’s fans expressed the idea that they were frustrated with the 52-year-old Bravo veteran for not confirming whether she will be returning as a cast member for the show’s 13th season. One user said: “I hate these subliminal tweets. Just plainly tell us what’s happening.🤦🏾♂️✌🏾,” while someone else mentioned, “Didn’t she say move in silence well girl please take yo advice. We sick.”
Comments like “Girl is you coming back or not 😩I mean damn we’re tired now 🤦🏾♀️” and “Simple question: Will you be returning yes, or no? These subliminal tweets and posts are starting to irk me!🤦🏾♀️” also flooded in underneath the post.
This isn’t the first time Nene has seemingly voiced her frustrations about the network on social media. At the beginning of August, the mother of two insinuated in a series of tweets that she would no longer allow Bravo to make her feel inferior, nor would she take any nonsense from the franchise. “If I have to stand alone, I WILL,” she wrote, followed by, “I’m READY! U hav tried to lessen me & make me insignificant for the last few years! That ends NOW! wanna talk publicly or privately? #igotthedreamteam.”
Nene’s recent Twitter rant comes nearly a month after she said in an Instagram Live chat that her contract is still under negotiation and blamed the network for the delay. “I’m still in a holding pattern. Let me start there. And also, I wanna be able to say that, it’s not me, it’s them. Every single season when it ends for at least the last three to four seasons, I have been dealing with this going back and forth. It’s not me, it’s them,” she said in the July 29 post. “A negotiation does take time, but I can’t move their pens any faster than they move them themselves or I can’t make their emails work.”
