Happy anniversary, Tami Roman! The former reality star from “Basketball Wives” and her 33-year-old husband Reginald “Reggie” Youngblood celebrated two years of marital bliss on Monday, Aug. 17.
Tami marked the special occasion with a video on Instagram that showed the former NFL prospect looking sharp as “Anniversary” by Tony! Toni! Toné! played in the background. “Happy 2nd year anniversary babe!” she began her caption. “You know, I used to ask God why my other relationships failed and what was wrong with me? Then I met you! It all became so clear. I had to go thru the wrong ones to be able to recognize the right one!”
Tami then went on to open up about a phrase that Reggie once said to her that captured her heart. “I’ll never forget you saying, ‘You’ve been hurt and mishandled, you’re broken… but broken pieces make a mosaic, unstructured art and that’s beautiful to me.’ I said, ‘Oh Lord dis young nicca done got me.'” She added: “😂😂😂 and even though you got yo mouf open snoring, calling every cow from here to Wyoming right now, I can’t imagine life without you. I love you.”
The couple wed in Las Vegas in the summer of 2018 and kept their marriage a secret for a year before revealing on season 8 of “BBW” that they’d gotten married. Tami and Reggie first began dating in 2013, and their 17-year age difference was a major storyline on the hit reality show. While the pair do not have any children together, Tami explained in a February interview on “One on One with Keyshia Cole” that they were open to pursuing surrogacy.
“He has no children. We tried three times. We, unfortunately, suffered three miscarriages. And, you know, now we’re considering a surrogate,” the 50-year-old actress said. Tami has two daughters in 25-year-old Lyric Anderson and 23-year-old Jazz Anderson, whom she shares with her ex-husband, former NBA point guard Kenny Anderson.
