Class is in session at Eva Marcille‘s house! The former reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has decided to homeschool her 5-year-old daughter Marley Rae Sterling just days after seemingly sending her pride and joy off to school.
Eva shared a series of photos of their at-home studies in an Instagram post for Tuesday, Aug. 18. The 35-year-old supermodel went for a natural appearance, wearing a gray-and-white striped pajama set and going mostly makeup-free except for her fake eyelashes. Her hair was styled in blond box braids and enhanced with colorful rubber bands. Marley donned a long-sleeved yellow shirt and was captured lying across their gray carpet, while writing on an assignment sheet. Without showing any teeth, Eva grinned for the shot. “Homeschooling much🤣😂🌻,” she captioned the image.
Eva’s photo generated over 20,000 likes and some 50 comments from fans expressing the idea that her facial expression made them laugh. “Strength to you Eva✊🏾,” one user encouraged underneath the photo. Someone else asked: “😂😂 Why you look so over it already,” followed by another person who wrote, “👏👊🤞👍. Hang on in there. Now every parent should be able to respect teachers now. Good job.”
On Thursday, Aug. 13, Eva posted a video on Instagram where Marley is seen rocking an adorable striped dress with cowboy boots. People assumed Marley was headed to school, considering she had a lunch box in one hand and wore a backpack. At the time, the talent from “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” sent her daughter positive affirmations before Marley headed out the door. “You go have a blessed and beautiful day, and you remember you can do anything,” she said to Marley.
Eva and her ex-boyfriend rapper Kevin McCall are the parents to Marley, but the “America’s Next Top Model” winner has full custody of their daughter. Eva announced in a 2019 segment of the radio show that she wanted to give Marley the same last name as her husband Michael Sterling. Together, the couple share two sons in 2-year-old Michael Sterling Jr. and 10-month-old Maverick Sterling. Eva confirmed on the Jan. 19 episode of “RHOA” that Marley’s last name was officially changed to match the attorney’s last name.
