Shaunie O’Neal is practically ageless. The creator and executive producer of “Basketball Wives” has managed to maintain her blemish-free skin and no-wrinkles appearance since standing in the spotlight as the wife of retired NBA player Shaquille O’Neal in the early 2000s.
Shaunie recently shared an old photo on Instagram that showed her decked out in a strapless blue dress for her surprise birthday party in Miami. The Texas native looked radiant with her natural makeup look, featuring fake eyelashes and a brown pout. Her hair was styled in a pixie cut and enhanced with wispy bangs. Shaunie tied her look together with a large silver necklace and pearl stud earrings.
Considering that the year was 2005, the group seemed to have a less-is-more attitude toward fashion. Shaunie’s friend Karen Farrakhan sported a simple red dress, while Shaunie’s bestie Alicia Malone wore a black shirt with jeans. Her other pal Kimberli Peters-Russell donned a see-through cheetah-print shirt with denim pants as CleRenda McGrady showed off her curves in a patterned dress.
Some people were impressed with Shaunie’s age-defying appearance. One user gushed: “Feel free to DM me the GPS coordinates to the fountain of youth! Thanks! 🤩,” in which Shaunie responded, “awwww thank you. Drink lots of water 🤷🏽♀️ I think lol.” Somebody else mentioned, “Ain’t aged a bit!!! #stillgorgeous😍🥰,” while another person said, “You still look the same 😍😍😍.”
This isn’t the first time fans have complimented the reality star on her youthful looks. On Mother’s Day, Shaunie posted a photo on Instagram of her modeling with her children Amirah O’Neal, Me’Arah O’Neal, Myles O’Neal, Shaquir O’Neal, and Shareef O’Neal, which led one fan to ask: “Hell, where is the mom?”
Shaquille and Shaunie divorced in 2009 after five years of marriage. Together, they share Amirah, Me’Arah, Shaquir, and Shareef. Shaunie had Myles from a prior relationship. The former Los Angeles Lakers center also has an older daughter, Taahirah O’Neal, from an earlier relationship.
