Talk about squad goals! On Monday, Aug. 3, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, a reality star on “Married to Medicine,” shared a photo on Instagram that showed her having a fun girls’ day with some of the ladies from the West Coast cast.
The image shows Dr. Jackie Walters sticking out her tongue and leaning on the 49-year-old dentist while seemingly chilling in a conference room in Atlanta. Dr. Kendra Segura and Lia Dias, both reality stars from “Married to Medicine Los Angeles,” stood in the center as Dr. Contessa Metcalfe struck her pose by placing her hand on her right hip. “I hung with some pretty cool chicks last night!” Dr. Heavenly captioned the image.
Some people went absolutely insane over their friendship. One user wrote: “Nothing like a true sisterhood❤️❤️❤️,” while somebody said, “Ok I like this dynamic 🙌🏽.”
Another person noticed that Mariah Huq, the executive producer and creator of “M2M,” was not in the photo and wrote: “Beautiful Crew ,we need little Drama and much luv. Where’s Mariah Huq? There’s a piece of puzzle missing👀👀.”
Although the Bravo showrunner was absent from the group photo, she reassured Atlanta Black Star in a June interview that she was not fired from her franchise. “I’m the first African-American woman to create a franchise at Bravo. I’m one of three people. It’s me, it’s Lisa Vanderpump, that created “Vanderpump Rules,” and Whitney Sudler that did “Southern Charm,” she said. “They’re still with their franchises. They’re still a part of [them]. Why would I not be?”
The Tennessee native then went on to explain that “not one cast member can make a formal announcement about anybody’s termination or hiring” despite her co-stars Dr. Simone Whitmore and Toya Bush-Harris suggesting in an Instagram live chat that someone was fired from the show. Their conversation came hours after Mariah revealed she had not yet received her contract for the upcoming season.
“They can’t speak on that, so I don’t know why people assumed they were talking about me, because at the end of the day I created the show and will always be connected to it.”
