It seems like more than a few men have the hots for R&B singer Monica Arnold, including NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver starred in the singer’s “Everything To Me” music video in 2010. A Twitter user re-shared a photo of Monica caressing Ochocinco’s face in the video and wrote on Thursday, July 9 “@ochocinco you in Monica video = sexual chocolate.”
The athlete seemed to agree with the person’s comments and replied, “I should’ve kissed her when i had the chance.”
His bold response triggered a flood of fan reactions.
“Boy you wouldn’t know what to do with that,” one person tweeted. Another said, “Shannon Brown bouta get on yo ahh.”
One user encouraged Ochocinco to “shoot” his “shot” at Monica, while another one wrote, “I was low key here for yawl!”
Monica re-posted the star’s flirty comments to her Instagram story and quipped, “If Fire and Gas were people!! Oh, we are 🤣 Florida & Georgia!! LoL… This video shoot was by far one of the most fun! Chad was hilarious & super kind & respectful ! The fashions were all created by the Late Alexander McQueen!!”
It’s typical of Monica to reply with such class.
The “So Gone” artist is currently single after divorcing ex-husband and former NBA player Shannon Brown in March 2019. The former couple split after eight years of marriage; Monica suggested they grew apart. She also slapped down all rumors of infidelity.
The newly single mother is back on the market and knows exactly what she wants in her next relationship.
“I need an old-school man in the sense that you can call me hood, you can call me whatever you wanna call me,” Monica said in an Instagram Live video in April. “At the end of the day, I need somebody that’s still a gentleman. That’s why I work so hard with the boys to be gentlemen. I still want you to open the door! I still want you to pull up and pick me up sometimes! I still want you to play my favorite song. I still like all that!”
