Toya Johnson and Robert “Red” Rushing’s daughter Reign Rushing might just be a track star in the making.

Johnson took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 8, and posted a video that showed her and her family going for a nature walk. The mother of two claimed her 2-year-old daughter asked to exercise with them.

Well, it seems baby Reign definitely got her cardio in after she challenged her father, Johnson’s fiancé, to a race. “Get on your mark, get set, go!” Johnson yelled in the video. The toddler bolted as fast she could while laughing. Robert jogged slowly, clearly letting his daughter pass him.

“My baby is winning. Go, baby!” Johnson shouted.

Instagram users cheered on baby Reign in the comments, gushing over her cuteness.

One person wrote, “I love how you all work out together and Reign is the cutest!!!😍.” Someone else added, “😂 Get it Reignyyy💕.”

Another fan said Reign was “full of life” and added, “Go Reign…go Big girl that giggle is everything!! 💕” One fan remarked, “She won!!!😍 Regin looks like she had a ball ❤️ she’s so adorable.”

Johnson and Rushing have been maintaining their fitness routine throughout the pandemic.

“We work out and watch TV together,” the television personality told BET in April.

Johnson added that self-quarantining has allowed her to spend more quality time with her family.

“We have been really enjoying the kitchen. I’m not usually in there like that, but recently I have been,” she said. “We have always had a solid relationship, but the time we have been together, we have definitely bonded more.”

Johnson said the biggest lesson she’s learned so far amid the pandemic is: “To appreciate the time that we have together because normally we take so much for granted. I appreciate the time with family while we cook, play games, watch movies and so much more.”
