It looks like Erica Dixon‘s twin daughters Embrii and Eryss are practicing selective mutism at an early age.
The 35-year-old mother posted a darling video to Instagram on Monday, July 6, of herself and her twin girls. She encouraged the toddlers to say their age, urging baby Eryss to repeat after her.
“Say one,” Dixon said to her daughter while holding up an index finger and recording the child on camera. However, baby Eryss refused to talk and responded with laughter and a smile.
The mother of three later turned the camera on her daughter Embrii. She took the pacifier out of the little one’s mouth and said, “Breeze, say I’m one.” When her daughter didn’t respond, she continued, “Embrii, say I eat. Say it, pumpkin. Say I eat.” Baby Embrii faintly said “eat, eat.”
The video quickly came to a halt after Dixon took Embrii’s pacifier away from her sister Eryss, who had burst into tears.
The reality star captioned the video, “Pure entertainment.” Instagram users immediately gushed over Dixon’s post and related to her as a parent.
“Kids know when the camera is on so they can make us look like we are showing out. Then as soon as the camera is down they say everything,” a fan wrote. Someone else added, “Well that went well! ❤️😂 They so cute !.”
One person asked Dixon, “Did they say it when you stopped recording? Kids are good for doing that 😂.”
The “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star replied, “You know they did. Talking up a storm.”
Dixon appears to be enjoying quality time with her twins and eldest daughter Emani Richardson, 15.
On June 25, she shared a sweet snap of herself and Emani cruising around in a car together. Dixon gushed over the image and wrote, “My life treasures will always be my girls.”
A week before Mother’s Day, Dixon also expressed that she was proud to be a “girl mom.” She wrote via Instagram on May 2, “The best things in my life are better with them. #girlmom.”
