‘She Told You’: Toya Johnson’s Daughter Reign Has Fans Cracking Up After She Says This to Her Mother

“T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle,” reality diva Toya Johnson may be a mother to a toddler, but it looks like her 2-year-old Reign Rushing is calling all the shots.

Johnson recorded her daughter over the weekend enjoying herself with her toys in a blow-up pool in the backyard.

“This little girl is so bossy 🤣😩,” Johnson captioned the July 3 video.

Dressed in a bright neon yellow and blush pink swimsuit, Reign told her mother “no” when she asked if she could touch her pool.

Johnson rebutted, asking her daughter, “why?” Reign then followed with a jumbled rant that couldn’t be understood until she said, “you don’t touch it.”

The author and television personality began to tease her daughter by leaning forward, pretending she was going to touch Reign’s pool, which set the feisty toddler off.

“Don’t touch it, I told you don’t touch it,” Reign shouted to Johnson while pointing at her and calling her “Johnny, Johnny.”

Reign told the 36-year-old to show her hand and that she needed to go to bed, which left fans in Johnson’s comment section cracking up over the toddler’s bossy commands.

“😂😂😂 so Bossy omg lol,” wrote Johnson’s oldest daughter, Reginae Carter, whose father is rapper Lil Wayne.

“Baby!!!!! She’s not playing with you!! The song took me out!! 🤣🤣🤣😍😍.”

“She told you!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.”

“That ‘No’ was solid!!😂 Soon as I heard that, it says no more. 😩.”

“That Johnny Johnny comes out erwhere I see!! Not just the Beach house!!!!😂😂🤣🤣.”

“She dropped her toys like ughhhhh; I just told you don’t touch it😂😂😂😂😂.”

Johnson and fiancé Robert “Red” Rushing welcomed their daughter in February 2018, a year after they started dating.

Recently, Johnson uploaded a gallery of photos from the day of her and Rushing’s proposal ceremony. Fans got a chance to see the actual ceremony on the Monday season finale of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.”

The couple flew around Atlanta in a helicopter ride that ended with the entrepreneur popping the question to Johnson with “Toya, will you marry me?” painted on the roof of a building where they landed.

Johnson had expressed her uncertainty about marrying for the third time, for she was married to Lil Wayne at a young age and producer Mickey “Memphitz” Wright from 2011-2016.

Despite her hesitation, Johnson said yes when Rushing got down on one knee with a ring ready.

Details of the wedding have yet to be revealed, but from Johnson’s post, it could be soon, as she has tagged “Rushingdowntheaisle.”

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
