Fans were finally able to see the moment when Robert “Red” Rushing proposed to Toya Johnson, and it was the wholesome happily ever after that they’d hoped for.
The couple, who started dating in 2017, have been engaged for some time, and fans finally got to see their proposal ceremony, which actually took place in late 2019, on Monday night’s season finale of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.”
Red planned the special moment to a T. The couple started off in a beautiful helicopter ride over Atlanta, where they took in gorgeous views of the city. The 2 Commas clothing brand owner popped the question like a boss, having “Toya, will you marry me?” painted on top of the building where they landed and completely catching the G.A.R.B. boutique owner off guard.
Toya wasn’t shy about addressing her hesitation about getting married for a third time during her and Red’s time on the show, but when he got down on that knee with that mountain-sized rock, those hesitations were nowhere to be seen. For anyone who hasn’t already figured it out, Toya said yes.
Her daughter Reginae, whose father is rapper Lil Wayne, was thrilled for her mom and shared a sweet message congratulating the couple.
“Congrats to my mommy & Red ❤️ true love is rare now a days so when you find it, cherish it ☺️,” she captioned her post. “My mom is my rock and to see her so happy makes my life complete! Thanks for bringing the light back into our family red ! My mom and I are very overprotective over each other and I’m glad to know you’re there to keep her safe and her heart fulfilled. We love you so much ❤️ I’ll plan y’all wedding for a reasonable price just because I love y’all lol 😉😂”

Red and Toya are the proud parents of 2-year-old daughter Reign Rushing, born February 2018. No wedding details for the couple have been announced as of yet, but fans can only hope that their nuptials will be televised.
