Kandi Burruss‘ 17-year-old daughter Riley Burruss is not taking any risks when it comes to her health. The singer-songwriter recently posted a series of photos on Instagram that showed the entire family of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” spending time with one another.
The images showed Riley wearing a mask and a black-and-white striped shirt. She struck her pose by standing to the left side of her mother while her stepsister, Kaela Tucker, 24, posed on the right side. Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce, husband Todd Tucker, son Ace Wells Tucker, 4, daughter Blaze Tucker, 7 months, father Dr. Titus Burruss, and stepmother Brenda Burruss sat on the couch in front of them.
The Grammy-Award winner received over 400 comments from people expressing the idea that Riley’s protective gear stole the spotlight. One user said, “Riley said not today Covid19đâ¤ď¸đ, followed by another that stated, “Riley ainât playing with yâall. She stay masked up! đˇđ đ.”
Kandi’s ex-boyfriend Russell Spencer is Riley’s father. During a 2016 interview with E! News Kandi hinted that Russell was absent in Riley’s life. “Riley’s dad and Iâwe never co-parented. He never was involved,” she explained. “We would hear from him for a little while then you wouldn’t hear from him again for like a year, two years then he’ll call again, ‘Oh, how is she doing?’ then you wouldn’t hear from him…that has been the situation her whole life.”
The reality star moved on and married Todd in 2014. The former “RHOA” television producer seems to be the father figure in Riley’s life. On Father’s Day, Todd shared the same family photo in an Instagram post and expressed how much he loved all of his children in the caption.
Kandi gave birth to their son Ace in 2016. The couple tried again to have a child the following year, but they were unsuccessful. Kandi and Todd pursued surrogacy and had their daughter Blaze in 2019. Todd’s oldest daughter Kaela is from his previous relationship.
