‘Love the Mommy Twerk’: Rasheeda Frost and Her 6-Year-Old Son Show Off Their Dance Moves to ‘Marry Me’ Song

Rasheeda Frost and her son Karter Frost had social media lit this week after they danced to the reality TV fan favorite’s “Marry Me” single on camera.

The 37-year-old’s rap track began trending on TikTok last week after people posted videos that showed them dancing to the catchy tune. Rasheeda and her 6-year-old son decided to join in on the fun and make a video of their own.

The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star posted the TikTok video to Instagram on Wednesday, June 17, and wrote in the caption,”So Karter was like come on Mom let’s do a TikTok with your song 🤣🤣🤣 #putitonhimmakehimwannamarryme #marryme.”

In the clip, Karter started flossing, a dance move in which a person repeatedly swings their arms with clenched fists from the back of their body to the front, to his mother’s song. Rasheeda two-stepped and kept her twerking to a minimum. The video received over 838,000 views and several reactions from the mother of two’s IG followers.

“Love the mommy twerk! 😭” a fan exclaimed. “He has gotten so big. And the twerk at the end lol 🤣. Love the outfit 💙,” another added.

One fan gushed over Karter and wrote, “Aaaaah Karter😂😍 this is the cutest😩😍😍,” while someone else raved over “Marry Me.”

“Ayeeee 🔥😂😂 I never truly appreciated this song until NOW! I got engaged 5/30 💍 #putitonhimmakehimwannamarryme,” the person wrote. “I don’t know why you stop rapping you are so awesome I love you and Love & Hip Hop you’re so natural you’re so beautiful and you’re a classy woman💯.”

Rasheeda released her track “Marry Me” in 2012 on the first season of “LHHATL.”

In 2016, the “Boss Chick” placed her rap career on the back burner and decided to enter the fashion industry. She told VH1 during a 2016 interview that she wasn’t completely retired from music.

“It is safe to say that Rasheeda dabbles in music. … You know I got some other things I’m working on, but at the end of the day I have to continue to evolve,” the rap diva said. “Music is the reason why I’m into fashion and am able to be the entrepreneur I am. But for the most part I think I’ve evolved into a fashionista.”

Rasheeda owns two Pressed fashion boutiques, one in Atlanta and the other in Houston. She launched her clothing brand in 2011.
