Former “Basketball Wives” reality star Tami Roman is one of many celebrities using their platforms to speak out against racial injustice in the wake of the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd at the hands of police.
The 50-year-old took to her Instagram a day ago to advocate for the Phenomenal group, a “female-powered lifestyle brand that brings awareness to social causes.”
Roman sported the “Phenomenally Black” tee and captioned her message by writing, “Millions of protesters across the country are speaking out against anti-black racism and police violence. We are thankful, yet we still have a lot of work to do, and we can’t let up.”
“So please continue to help fighting for our Phenomenally Black community until there’s full accountability. All proceeds from this @phenomenal tee benefit @blackfutureslab, which is working to build Black political power. Go get yours at @phenomenal and support the movement 💯💋🙏🏽 #PhenomenallyBlack,” Roman concluded.
While Roman garnered over 16,000 likes on her powerful post, it was the mother of two’s flawless beauty that left fans swooning.

Roman’s compliments have come a long way since she had fans concerned about her weight loss in 2018.

While she mostly received compliments, some of Roman’s fans were visibly concerned about her slim-down in the comments section.

Due to all the criticism, even from former “BBW” reality co-star Evelyn Lozada, Roman opened up about her new look in a June 2018 post, writing, “I didn’t lose weight, I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE!”
“I detox, suppress my appetite, and make better food choices. So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments & calling me a ‘crackhead’… but I have two beautiful daughters, and I’m gon’ live for them by ANY means necessary,” Roman concluded.
Despite criticism or concerns, Roman seems content with her weight loss journey and her new look.
