‘Very Disrespectful’: Fans Tease Tami Roman’s Gray Hair

Tami Roman recently had a few unwelcome visitors crash her hairline. On Saturday, May 30, the former cast member of “Basketball Wivesposted a photo on Instagram that showed her embracing her gray baby hairs.

Donning what appeared to be a black camisole, the 50-year-old Roman touched her hair with one hand and gazed at the camera. Roman revealed in a May 26 Instagram post that it took her two days to twist her own locks. Her black braids, which were pulled into a top bun, contained shades of brown hair. The reality star veteran added a pop of subtle pink eye shadow and a neutral-toned lipstick to pull her entire look together.

Roman self-mockingly suggested in her caption that she was surprised to see that her gray hairs were flourishing, since she twisted her mane nearly one week ago. “My gray hairs said, “‘Oh you thought by twisting up our cousins, we weren’t gonna pop up for a visit'” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so disrespectful!” she wrote.

Roman’s beauty picture received over 20,000 likes and some 800 comments of people complimenting her appearance and teasing her hairdo.

“😊πŸ”₯πŸ‘..still pretty…Chile..at least you still ” have a family at your edges”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚..unlike some of usπŸ˜€πŸ˜€.”

“The grays wanna be great too! πŸ˜‚.”

Roman has proven time and time again that she can rock any hairstyle. The “Saints & Sinners” actress began her natural hair journey in 2019 after she became nearly bald from coloring her hair. On the Nov. 19 episode of “Personal Injury Court,” Roman, appearing as a celebrity witness on the show, said, “I’ve dyed my hair most of my life because I grayed early. So, I went to my stylist and I said, β€˜I want you to take my hair to platinum blond,’ and he said, β€˜You know, it’s going to be difficult.’ And I said, β€˜I still want it.’ And, six weeks later, all the hair fell out. I wanted what I wanted and now I’m bald.”

Roman seems to have learned her lesson. She has been spending her shelter-in-place days sporting protective styles.
