Tia Mowry-Hardrict recently took a trip down memory lane on Thursday, May 28, when she posted an old photo on Instagram that showed her melting into her husband Cory Hardrict‘s eyes.
Draped in a long-sleeved shirt, a younger Cory Hardrict held Tia Mowry-Hardrict’s hand. The now-41-year-old actress wore her hair pinned back into a half-up, half-down hairstyle. The black-and-white outdoor shot, taken somewhere in Hollywood, California, according to the post, depicted the couple gazing at each other in apparent adoration. Tia-Mowry Hardrict described their relationship in the caption, writing, “#tbt My love ❤️.”
Over 100,000 fans gravitated toward the image, with many expressing that they were melting over the couple’s relationship.

The pair originally met at a bus stop in Hollywood. At the time, Cory Hardrict was a struggling actor who had just wrapped up filming a movie, while Tia Mowry-Hardrict was a successful actress who had just ended her six-season stint on the ’90s sitcom “Sister, Sister” with her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley. The sisters were driving when they saw Hardrict waiting at a bus stop. The “Family Reunion” actress offered to give her future husband a ride home.
Hardrict explained in a 2015 interview with Global Grind that his future wife’s success was not intimidating to him when they met. He hinted that she saw something special in him. “She saw an honest man who had a dream. I just had vision. I didn’t come in selling no games. Cats gotta front and be like they somebody when they not, and that’s not me,” he said.
“I roll alone. You born alone, you die alone. I feel like a man can just hold his own and be a man. I don’t have to play games with anybody, and she respected that,” he concluded. The pair got married in 2008 after six years of dating. They had their now-8-year-old son Cree Hardrict in 2011 and their now-2-year-old daughter Cairo Hardrict in 2018.
