Ray J did his best to share a sweet social media message celebrating his daughter’s second birthday, but not without fans having plenty to say.
The 39-year-old entrepreneur, actor, and musician, who’s facing some tough marital times these days, shared a family video in celebration of his daughter, Melody, whom he shares with his estranged wife Princess Love.
In the video, the family is seen walking down the tarmac as they head to board a private plane. Just as they get to the airplane stairs, however, Ray J struggles with collapsing baby Melody’s stroller, in classic new- parent fashion.
The Raycon founder made fun of himself in the cute message he shared with the video writing, “Practice makes perfect! This was the first time flying with Melz! I remember still struggling trying to put the stroller together – now my baby is 2 years old! @melodylovenorwood Time flys!!”
Nostalgic for the days when Ray J and Princess Love were (slightly) happier, fans flooded the “One Wish” singer’s comments with hopes, prayers, and requests for him to repair his relationship with his wife.
“Fight for ur family,” encouraged a fan.
“Work it out❤️❤️❤️❤️,” another wrote.
“Awww, he wants his family 💜💜 gotta get that do right in ur system 💁🏻♀️,” said a third.
“Please fight for ur family, you don’t want to see a next man raise your children 🙏,” noted a fourth.

Princess Love reportedly filed for divorce earlier in May, but the couple appears to still be spending plenty of time together while sheltering in place because of COVID-19. Ray J and Love wed in 2016. In addition to two-year-old Melody, the two are also parents to four-month-old Epik Ray Norwood.
