Monica fans were in for a rude awakening this week after she channeled her inner sensuality.
The “So Gone” singer took to Instagram on Monday, May 4, and posted several clips of the latest episode of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.” The snippets showed Monica practicing some sexy dance moves at Sky Barre fitness studio in Atlanta with her cast mates.
In one of the clips, the 39-year-old musician sat on an aerial sling and did a move called the “butterfly.” It showed Monica sitting in a leaned back position with her legs scissored wide open in the air. Her good friend and fellow “Friends and Family Hustle” cast member Toya Johnson can be heard shouting in the background, “Yes, Monica!”
“Well Well, Looka here….TONIGHT at 9pm on @vh1 ‘s Friends & Family Hustle … The Conservative Boring One, May not be that Boring after all 😂😂,” the mother of three wrote on Instagram. “My Girls been putting up with my shenanigans a lot lately LOL… Tune in TONIGHT for a new Episode & new adventures !!!”
Monica’s moves not only shocked Johnson, they also took her fan base by surprise.

On the VH1 show, Monica revealed she is now trying different things as a newly single woman.
In March 2019, the songstress and her ex-husband Shannon Brown called it quits after being married for nearly eight years. The pair never discussed why they were divorcing, but fans believed it was due to infidelity.
However, Monica said that Brown never cheated on her. She addressed the rumors in the April 15 episode of “Friends and Family Hustle” and said that “a lot of what you read about us did not happen.”
The two remain friends as they co-parent their 6-year-old daughter Laiyah Shannon Brown.
