It seems Reginae Carter takes after her mother Toya Johnson in the looks department.
The 21-year-old posted a few selfies this week that instantly grabbed fans’ attention. She took to Instagram on Thursday, April 30, and shared a picture of herself dolled up in a gray off-the-shoulder top, matching shorts and sneakers.
Carter also flossed her jet black ringlets and glam makeup look to her 5 million IG followers. She posed in front of a wall with her backside toward the camera, while looking over shoulder. Her post read “Comfy.”
She received over 126,000 likes on her photos. Fans also noted how much she resembled her mother.

Carter is extremely close to her mother.
As a matter of fact, the young actress said she talks to Johnson every day, especially since the stay-at-home order.
“I do a lot of FaceTime with my mom every day,” she told BET in a recent interview. “I talk to Zonnique every day and I go over to Tameka’s [Tiny Harris’] house since my mom banned me,” Carter playfully added.
The television personality has also been making a lot of noise on social media with her TikTok skits. She told BET that the videos are another way for her to practice acting.
“My acting coach was coming over every week so that we could go over different monologues and things like that, but since the quarantine, he hasn’t been over,” Carter said.
“So I have been practicing while entertaining myself and others because people love it so much,” she continued. “I get a lot of requests to do more in my DMs because it makes them laugh and I like to make people happy.”
