‘This Hair on You’: Fans Obsess Over Tanya Sam’s Goddess Braids

Like many people these days, Tanya Sam is sporting a low-maintenance hairstyle. Sam, a friend of cast members on the show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” proved to fans that she was taking advantage of the breezy Atlanta weather when, on Sunday, April 26, she posted a photo to Instagram that showed her sitting on a bridge trial. Her apparel in addition to her hair caused the internet to buzz over her outdoor looks.

The native of Toronto, Canada wore a blue track suit with a gray vest. With goddess braids extending down her back, Sam accessorized her outfit with a pink scarf and Nike x Off-White Waffle Racer shoes. “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Hope you all had a great weekend 🤗,” she wrote in her caption.

Fans seemed to appreciate Sam’s style, but it was ultimately her protective hairdo that caused over 23,000 people to positively react to her photo.

Sam expressed in her comments that she was infatuated with her hair. “I am LOVING these goddess braids,” she told a fan. The tech pro typically flaunts her natural curls, but opted for a protective style during her shelter-in-place life. Sam, a former nurse, appears to be staying physically active amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sam shared in an Instagram post that she ran three miles in 30 minutes while wearing a face mask. She explained that she was protecting herself from spreading the disease and revealed she was exercising in her neighborhood. According to her website, Sam is an avid runner, workout queen, and spin-cyclist.
