Cynthia Bailey was seemingly not playing about her health on Sunday, April 19. Bailey, a cast member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” shared in an Instagram post that she was making a quick run to the grocery store. The 53-year old Bailey covered certain parts of her body with protective gear, but some people were not pleased with her COVID-19 safety attempts. Fans expressed that she was not covered properly for her trip and insisted that she educate herself about the severity of the virus.
Bailey, a mother of one, posted a full-body photo of herself that displayed her standing outside a fitness center. She wore a black T-shirt with the words BOYZ N THE HOOD embellished in red lettering across her midsection in addition to a pair of ripped blue jeans. Her errand-running attire consisted of a blue camouflage print mouth mask, a matching New York Yankees baseball cap, and a cross body handbag. Bailey, a former supermodel, posed for the photograph by throwing up two peace signs.
Bailey looked as if she were trying her best to take the correct safety precautions before she left her house, but fans were not here for her less-than-fully covered appearance. They slammed the reality star for her out-of-the-house apparel.
“You need on glasses and gloves too,” one scold wrote.
“You should’ve put masks on both your knees to complete your look! 😆 I hope you are staying healthy and happy during this crazy time Miss Cynthia! We love you!”
“Put blue gloves on Cynthia,” a third fan encouraged.
“You look good but you really shouldn’t be out of the house without gloves. It’s dangerous out here. Read up on what’s going on outside,” a fourth fan said.
“Oh hey. You’re wearing a mask this time 😂.”
“Cynthia where are your gloves? 😷”
Despite what people may think about Bailey’s recent safety measures, she appears to be taking the outbreak seriously. She ensured fans on March 17 that she and her family were following the rules by staying in the house. She wrote on Instagram that she has been washing her hands frequently, taking her vitamins, staying hydrated, and bonding with her family during these uncertain times. She urged her fans to stay informed about the coronavirus by asking them to watch the news.
