It’s safe to say Charmaine Walker is diving head first into her mommy duties.
The “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star’s 3-week-old daughter Nola Bey is giving her and husband Neek Bey a run for their money. On Sunday, April 19, Walker posted an adorable photo of the infant smiling. Baby Nola wore a cute little onesie that read “Daddy’s girl.”
Nevertheless, the baby’s garment was clearly dirty from her taking a big poop. The dirty diaper clearly didn’t faze baby Nola one bit.
“If ‘You think this shit is funny’ was a baby,” Walker captioned her Instagram post.
Fans gushed over Nola’s cuteness, while others scolded the new mother for apparently not changing her child’s diaper before taking a photo.
“You just gonna snap pictures and not change her first 😩😭”
“Girl change her pamper before she get an infection”
“🤦🏾♀️ Just give her a bath”
“Since you posted this now you can change her”
Others couldn’t help but to gush over how cute the child looked.
“😂She’s too cute lookin like you 💕. Amazing how much she resembles your mom 😍”
“😂 @charmainej_tv that is so funny she like now change me mama I got a surprise for you 😂❤️”
“Nothing compares to those breast milk blow outs 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️!! lmaooo! Charmaine you Truly have your mother with you Everyday. NOLA Glenda is half your Husband and half your mother. The hair says it all She’s Beautiful ❤️”
Although Walker and her husband seemed to be enjoying parenthood, the stresses of being a new mother apparently affected the “Black Ink Chicago” star.
“Moms. I have a confession: sometimes I need a baby break. Just like a “go in another room break”. At first I felt guilty but then I realized that this doesn’t make me a bad mom! It makes me an even better mom when I get back from my mental break,” Walker wrote via Instagram on April 18. “Luckily I have a great husband who is a hands on dad and this can allow me to take this time. It helps! Now we have a happy baby and a happy new mom 💙🦋 #mentalhealthcheckin.”
Walker and Bey welcomed their daughter on March 14.
Baby Nola is the couple’s first child together. Walker said delivering her daughter was a memorable day.
“Welcoming our daughter Nola Glenda Bey!” Today is the best day if my life!” she said after giving birth. “Labor was LIT! I would do it over n over again. Big thank you to my husband @neekbey for being my soldier through it all. So worth it!”
