‘We Must Dig Deep’: Lauren London Shares a Message of Dealing With Trauma And Tragedy

Actress Lauren London seldom has spoken about her process of dealing with great loss and heartache since her longtime boyfriend Nipsey Hussle was gunned down in Los Angeles in 2019. With the level of uncertainty many feel now as a result of “the Rona” she’s offering up a few words as guidance when hope can seem hard to find.

Taking to her IG story, London posted the words, “Tragedy and trauma has taught me that in times when it feels so dark|You must dig deep within|Connect with God |That’s the way.”

For some, her words may seem right on time as people hold tight to their families and life as they know it while health and state officials work to ease the spread of the sometimes deadly virus.

“Amen … That’s right use your platform Girrrrrl to HELP people 💯”

“Amen. Gods plan ❤️,” commented one person, while others simply left a slew of emojis signifying that London’s words positively impacted them.

On a more personal level, the 35-year-old London has publicly spoken about the tragic loss of her love, Nipsey Hussle, on two occasions. This includes during his public memorial at the Staples Center and at the 2020 Grammy Awards in February, during a moving tribute in honor of Hussle and Kobe Bryant.

However, since the untimely death of Hussle at 33, she has shared numerous photos of the duo, taking fans down memory lane and giving them a glimpse of the love they shared.

“Honorable. Powerful. Beautiful You Are. Miss you every second of every day and even in my sleep. Until we are together again … I’m holding it down,” wrote London March 7, after posting a series of photos of the late rapper.

The one-year anniversary of the “Hussle & Motivate” rapper’s death is March 31.
