It looks “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” cast member Charmaine Walker and her husband Neek Bey are preparing themselves for the hardships that come along with parenthood.
After welcoming their newborn daughter into the world a few days ago, the couple appeared to be finally bringing her home. During the car ride, baby Nola apparently began crying, which apparently was foreign to the new mom.
Walker posted a pic to Instagram Monday, March 16. In the image, the newborn appears to be shrieking. For the caption, Walker wrote “Here we go lol otw home!”
The reality TV star gave birth to her daughter on Saturday, March 14 at Chicago’s Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital. Her husband Bey was right by her side as they welcomed their first child together.
“Welcoming our daughter Nola Glenda Bey! Today is the best day if my life! Labor was LIT! I would do it over n over again. Big thank you to my husband @neekbey for being my soldier through it all. So worth it,” the 31-year-old mother wrote via Instagram.
Baby Nola was born at 4:41 a.m. at 6 lbs and 14 oz. Walker and Bey named her after her late mother Glenda Walker, who passed away in October.
“When I was pushing her out I had an image of my mom holding her and it was the most beautiful experience ever,” the mother of one wrote.
Walker and Bey seemed happier than ever to be new parents. Their fans continue to flood them with congratulatory messages.
