Fans seemingly did not like the “living legend’s” colored beauty look. Some people implied she looked like a Coronavirus victim while others took their harsh opinions to social media.

One fan commented, “U look sick with that take off please😘😘😘😘.”

“Toni please stop letting that lady put that stuff on your eyes 🤦🏾‍♀️ 🤦🏾‍♀️,” a second fan said.

“Love you Toni, but the makeup looks like the Coronavirus. Sorry. You’re too pretty, you don’t need all that anyway,” a third user commented.

“What is wrong with your eyes; they look inflamed,” asked a fourth user.

A fifth fan said, ” @tonibraxton gurrl, you got dat Coronavirus in yo eyez.

“Take that eye makeup off Ms. Toni ❤️ ,” a sixth commented.

A few months ago the R&B artist posted a video of her showing off her colored eyelashes for the first time. She told fans she was trying something new and wanted her social media followers to give her their honest opinion regarding her colored eyelashes. However, she received a lot of backlash about her makeup choices then too.

While people may be throwing shots at the “Braxton Family Values” reality star for her new look in addition to comparing her to a highly contagious virus, that hasn’t slowed Braxton from a cause that’s near and dear to her. She continues to be an advocate for people who suffer from lupus, an autoimmune disease. The R&B singer was first diagnosed with systemic lupus in 2008, and doctors told her she would never be able to perform again.
