‘Throw It Back’: Toni Braxton Hits The Right Note With This Glamorous Pic

“You got me saying my, my, my,” is the sentiment expressed by fans swooning over yet another of Toni Braxton’s effortless slays.

The “Living Legend” posted a photo that had fans picking their jaws up off the floor after taking in her beauty in a stunning glamour shot.

Braxton captioned the photo of her donning a black curve-hugging sequined dress, a red lip and long tresses: “Throwback or Flashback? πŸ–€ “

Those who adore the “Braxton Family Values” cast member swooned over her in the comments.

“Throw it back! Fast forward!,” wrote one person who couldn’t care less when the photo was taken, as long as it captured her breathtaking appearance.

“You don’t age, how would we know! This could be from yesterday 😍πŸ”₯πŸ’–”

“Fine as hell is what it is 😍😍😍πŸ”₯”

“It doesn’t matter she still fine now and was fine then 😍”

The songstress has been making waves on social with posts showing off her svelte figure in an animal print dress, her colored lashes and studio time teasing at an upcoming album.

Braxton’s last studio album, “Sex and Cigarettes,” was released in 2018, leaving fans nipping at her heels for more sultry R&B tunes.

Also on the mind of fans is whether the singer is secretly married to her longtime beau Birdman. Heads were spinning as Trina Braxton wished the rapper a happy birthday on social with a photo of them along with the caption, “Happy Birthday B.I.L.!!!”

Braxton has been notoriously quiet about her relationship despite Birdman making appearances on the family’s reality TV show. Fans have even questioned if the songbird has a case of cold feet or a change of heart since two years have passed since they became engaged.

“We haven’t set a date because of my schedule. I hate that,” said Braxton of her wedding date that seems to be left in limbo. “You’re supposed to set a date and stick to it. But unfortunately in our business it can be challenging sometimes.”

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual β€” and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
