The Migos’ Offset donated $50,000 to the American Cancer Society on Friday in College Park, Georgia. It was right before an event began for the Call of Duty League, where the team Atlanta FaZe walked away with first place.

Offset shared footage of the donation to Instagram on Saturday and said he also helped to get local Atlanta kids into esports summer camps.

In the summer of 2019, it was announced that Offset gave a financial investment to Atlanta FaZe, since he’s seemingly passionate about gaming.

“Last night me and @fazeclan gave @americancancersociety $50K to fight against cancer and raised money for esports summer camps for metro ATL kids who don’t have access to compete in esports,” wrote Offset in the caption of the video.

People thanked him for his donation afterward and said the money will make a definite impact.

“I love this!” wrote one of Offset’s Instagram followers. “There are so many children that just want to play sports but aren’t financially advantaged to do so. Then there are so many children with cancer who are fighting for their lives! You are making a difference!!❤️”

“A summer camp for video games now this some next level sh*t‼️ 💯💯💯 #BUYBACKTHEBLOCK ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾,” a second person wrote.

“That’s beautiful bless up,” wrote a third.

While a fourth person told Offset that he’s “Making big boy plays out here. i see you 💪.”

In August of last year, Offset also received kind words from FaZe Clan president Greg Selkoe after the investment was made. Lil Yachty is also part of the group, and in December 2018 he became FaZe’s content creator.

“We view Offset as an amazing addition to the FaZe Clan family and look forward to working closely with him to develop co-branded experiences, content, apparel, and anything else his incredibly creative mind can conceive of,” said Selkoe in a press statement.

“Our roots and DNA are gaming, but we have built a lifestyle brand and social movement around this. What is key to our formula is that everyone we bring into the FaZe Clan family has to first have an authentic love for gaming and Offset is both one of the planet’s biggest musicians and a skilled gamer and esports aficionado as well.”
