‘Move On!’: Erica Dixon Responds to Fans Who Compare Her to Scrappy’s Wife Bambi

Erica Dixon clearly isn’t in the mood for anyone’s negativity.

The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star clapped back at fans this week who took it upon themselves to compare her to Bambi Benson, the current wife of Dixon’s ex-fiancé, rapper Lil Scrappy. The mother of three took to Instagram on Tuesday and uploaded a photo of herself at Toya Wright‘s recent double dutch competition in Atlanta.

The image showed Dixon striking a diva pose at the event with her new platinum blond tresses. She added in her caption, “Still recapping… oh hey sis @brande.elise”

Her post was instantly filled with people comparing her looks to Benson’s.

“She wayyyyyyyy prettier then the bam 🤷🏾‍♀️💯,” a fan wrote.

“The Bam could never 🔥,” a second person added. “Erica is bad asl.”

One person felt it was disrespectful to Dixon for fans to be mentioning Bambi on an unrelated post.

“Why can’t erica be complimented without bambi being trashed and talked about??” the fan wrote in the comments. “Erica doesn’t care about her and this post has nothing to do with her!!! it’s sooo freaking sad and annoying the way some of us ‘think’… SMFH 🤦🏽‍♀️”

Dixon agreed with the fans and replied back, “Whew child!!! You said a mouth full. Everyone has moved on. Sad my people can’t too.”

The “LHHATL” actress’ beauty post comes days after fans noticed Dixon and Benson sending subliminal messages to each other in social media posts.

Dixon and Lil Scrappy don’t get along when it comes to co-parenting their 14-year-old daughter Emani Richardson. She claimed that the “Knuck If You Buck” rapper owes her child support, which he’s denied multiple times. On top of that, Dixon accused Benson’s mother of picking on their 14-year-old daughter, which Scrappy apparently did nothing about. Dixon also claimed that Benson overstepped her boundaries by reading text messages of hers and Scrappy.

As for recent social media posts, Benson posted on her IG story last week, “I really hate when I have to wake up my inner b–ch.”

A few minutes later Dixon tweeted, “People need to mind their business like they mind others.”

Benson apparently subtweeted Dixon back, but quickly deleted her message afterward. Hopefully, for the sake of Dixon and Scrappy’s teenager, the trio can learn to get along.
