‘Noelle All Day’: Cynthia Bailey Bears Striking Resemblance to Daughter in This Throwback Photo

Wow, Noelle Robinson, is that you or your mother Cynthia Bailey is the question fans were left asking after Bailey posted a throwback photo of herself and a friend.

Now, we know they are mother and daughter, but Bailey in her younger days can easily pass as a doppelgänger for her 19-year-old daughter with actor Leon Robinson.

The former model and current “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member captioned the photo, “wow! rarely saw one without the other. me & @marcia_daly back in the day. couldn’t tell us nothin ✔️ oh this was clearly the thin eyebrow era 😂”

Before most could take in her beauty, they had to first acknowledge that Bailey had given birth to her literal “mini me.”

There’s no doubt that Robinson and Bailey have next-level twinning status, based on how shook fans were.

At the ripe age of 19 Bailey signed her first modeling contract with Wihelmina Models. From there she graced runways in Paris and New York, as well as modeled for brands such as Oil of Olay and Maybelline.

Since joining the housewives franchise audiences have witnessed her take on entrepreneurship by starting the The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, a luxury luggage line named Cargo, and most recently she opened the Cynthia Bailey Wine Cellar.

At 52, Bailey has gone through several highs and lows professionally and personally — including a divorce from Peter Thomas — but is seemingly finally standing in her light with soon-to-be husband Mike Hill.

Hill, a sports journalist, popped the question in front of Bailey’s family, friends and “RHOA” cast mates in June 2019. The duo had been dating for a little over the year at the time. Ever since then the lucky lady has had the glow of love and happiness in photos posted to social media.

“You are glowing with love 🖤,” said one fan.

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
