While at Bailey’s grand opening on Friday for her new Atlanta business venture, The Bailey WineCeller, Hill popped the question to his soon-to-be wife in front of their family and friends, placing a five carat princess cut solitaire ring on her left hand.
The ESPN sportscaster, 52, was able to pull off his proposal with the help of his daughter Kayla, 17, who reportedly handed him a bottle with a “big question mark on it”— saying to him, “No dad, I think you should propose like this.”
Bailey’s daughter, Noelle Robinson, 19, also had a part in the engagement, passing Hill the ring box and opening it just moments before he dropped on one knee and proposed to her mom. The couple’s children, including the ESPN star’s second daughter Ashlee,19, stood behind him, holding a hand-made puzzle piece sign that read, “Can we be a family?”
The “RHOA” star, 52, reportedly was overwhelmed by emotion before “quickly” saying yes.
Bailey and Hill have been dating for 14 months and initially met on Steve Harvey’s talk in April 2018 for a dating game and the rest is history between them. This will be both of the twosome’s second marriage, Bailey divorced ex-husband Peter Thomas in 2017.
Details of their wedding have yet to be revealed.
