“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Charmaine Walker is slaying her pregnancy.
The VH1 television personality is apparently glowing more than ever while pregnant. She took to Instagram on Thursday and posted a photo of her recent maternity shoot. She posed in front of a teal backdrop while sporting a nude gown embellished with ruffles.
Walker wore her hair in long curls and opted for a high-glam makeup look. She posed for the camera with her hand underneath her tummy and her legs crossed. Reflecting on her late mother’s last words to her, the “Black Ink” star wrote in her caption, “‘I still can’t believe my baby is having a baby’ some of the last words from my mom the night before she passed 💕 That convo was everything.”
Although a gang of fans uplifted the mother-to-be with prayers, many others remarked over how radiant Walker looked.
“You’re glowing. Loveee you Charrrr❤️ biggggg fan. My condolences to you and your family. God Bless🙏🏽💕🤗👑”
“I Love this pic 💗 you look. Try pretty & expecting! God bless you! Your strength is going to give others strength”
“Ur so beautiful pregnant! You are one tough women! Keep it up beautiful. That live you guys hAve.❤💗”
“Looking beautiful 😍 as always and slaying your baby bump. I know moms would be proud”
Walker’s mother Glenda Walker died in October 2019. She apparently passed away from a heart attack, Walker said on the current season of “Black Ink Crew: Chicago.”
As a way to honor her late mother, Walker and her husband Neek Bey decided to name their unborn daughter after Charmaine’s late mother.
“Nola Glenda Bey!!” Charmaine wrote via Instagram on Dec. 21. “This sweet little girl is making my life so much better and I haven’t even met you yet! I’m so thankful for her already! Can’t believe it’s a girl 💕.”
Although the television personality and her husband have been blessed with their bundle of joy, the expectant mother is still grieving her late mother.
“Missing her so much and so grateful for my life with her and the life inside of me,” Walker wrote on Christmas Day. “Hard to really sit and think about but for the most part I feel her spirit today. Love you mom and merry Christmas to everyone.”
