Steve Harvey is denying fellow comedian Mark Curry‘s claims he’s stolen jokes from him in the past.
In December, the former “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” star accused Harvey of using his comedic material on multiple platforms including the talk show host’s former daytime show “Steve” and his gig with NBC show “Little Big Shots.” Curry added that Harvey was still “jacking” his “joints.”
Harvey has apparently caught wind of Curry’s claims and deemed it as complete malarkey.
“Mark Curry need to grow up,” Harvey told TMZ on Wednesday, after he was asked about Curry’s accusations. “Steve Harvey ain’t been on stage since 2015. … He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, he’s making stuff up so I’m in peace.”
The 62-year-old “Kings of Comedy” actor went on to say that he never jacked a joke from Curry in his life and even challenged him to pinpoint the material he’s stolen.
“The only reason I’m commenting, is because he keeps running his mouth about, now grow up,” Harvey added. “Never stole a joke in 35 years. Come to like a man and tell me what the joke is.”
Both Harvey and Curry claimed they’ve spoken about the joke stealing incident before, but things apparently never got resolved.
Curry claimed Harvey stole his Halloween material when Harvey was on his now cancelled talk show “Steve.”
“When he was on his bullsh– talk show that he had, he did all of my Halloween material one Halloween,” Curry said on Fox Soul’s “The Mike & Donny Show” on December 14. “He did my whole Halloween run, and I know he didn’t think of it. This was true stuff that really happened to me.”
As of now, the feud between Harvey and Curry continues to brew. Social media users have also chimed in with their opinions.
“Oop, Steve been shady,” one fan said at time of Curry’s accusations. “Bernie didn’t stop messing with him for no reason.”
Another added, “Steve wouldn’t do that. I think Mark is just jealous cuz he on ain’t on his level.”
